The Panahi 2016 RCT is the most directly applicable — it used 1000mg/day of C3 Complex® at a dose achievable with two standard capsules, in a real-world metabolic syndrome population, over 8 weeks. The outcomes (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8) are primary inflammatory markers, not surrogate endpoints.
