  1. This review matches my experience perfectly! I was skeptical about SomaLeaf’s price, but the 180-day guarantee made it worth trying. I’ve dealt with joint stiffness and sleep issues for years, and other CBD/turmeric products did nothing for me.Within a week, I was sleeping better and felt less achy in the mornings. The liposomal delivery really seems to work better than regular capsules. The taste takes getting used to;I mix mine with orange juice now.Has anyone found it works better on an empty stomach? I take mine first thing in the morning and seem to get better results. Also curious if others noticed benefits beyond pain and sleep;  my overall inflammation seems improved too.

    1. Hi Linda, Rob here. Thanks for sharing—your experience with better sleep and less morning stiffness is a classic sign that the liposomal delivery is working well for you. It’s designed for better absorption than standard capsules.

Quick tip on your question: taking it on an empty stomach is great, but if you ever feel any stomach upset, a small snack with healthy fat works just as well. The orange juice trick is a good one!

If you’re curious why this form works so much better, I break it down here: Turmeric vs Curcumin(Absorption Explained).

Keep me posted on how you feel after a full three weeks!

  2. There seems to be a lot of benefits to taking turmeric supplements, as it would be impossible to get enough by simply using it in your food. This is also the first time that I have heard and read about turmeric adulteration. I clicked on your link and was shocked to see what can be added to turmeric that is so bad for our systems. I will definitely be testing all our turmeric from now on. This supplement looks like the real deal and I can’t wait to try it out.

    1. Michel — Great comment, and you’re spot on to question food vs. supplement. Culinary turmeric is fantastic for overall diet quality, but the clinical effects we see in studies are tied to higher curcuminoid doses and improved absorption—hard to reach from food alone. That’s exactly why delivery tech (liposomal, water-dispersible, etc.) matters.

Re adulteration: unfortunately, it’s real. Some low-cost powders are cut with starches or even colorants. Your decision to source from brands with transparent testing is a wise move. We maintain a living list of vetted options and explain what to look for on labels (standardized curcuminoids, lot testing, and clear origin) in our Best Turmeric Supplements guide. If you want a deeper dive into “how the body actually uses this,” this page on Turmeric for Inflammation walks through the pathways (NF-κB, COX-2) in plain English.

If you test a couple of formats (capsule vs. liquid vs. liposomal), keep notes for 3–4 weeks on joint comfort, morning mobility, and post-exercise soreness. Your results will help other readers, and I can add them (anonymized) to our user outcomes section. Appreciate you taking the time to dig into this properly.
