  1. I didn’t know Turmeric is such a helpful suppliment. I really love the way you have explained everything here in a well detailed manner. This stuff is too important and something to always keep in the house. 

    It’s ability to control diabetes,  headache, arthritis, and a booster to brain makes me think about going for it. I experience some occasional headache feelings and I wonder if it can help.

    I’d like to know, does it have any side effects on the body after long time of exposure? Is it applicable to children below 10 years?

I have incorporated turmeric into my diet for two years now, and then decided to get into a credible supplement simply because of the change of energy I was experiencing. There are no significant side effects as is it a All Natural Food, however there has been reported allergies but extremely rare, and not harmful.

      And YES! it is absolutely fine for children, perhaps not baby’s or toddlers as such. Although Traditional Indian’s get it in their diet straight away:). Recent research I have been following has shown it to be helpful with kids suffering with difficulties like add etc.

They tell us that they prepare every single one of their dishes with turmeric. I got really curious that I tried it too. Good thing with turmeric powder when cooked with dishes is that it will not actually give any weird taste.

    Turmeric used to be available in powder form only, are you saying that they now come also in capsules or tablets? If one wants to take turmeric supplements for the purpose of controlling diabetes, how often should they take to make it effective and for how long?

  3. I’ve always known that turmeric was healthy but just how healthy I had no idea. A great way to get turmeric in your diet is to eat curry foods and I’m going to make sure that I get me some curry on a more regular basis.

  4. Hey this is a great article and well written !

    I wanted to chime in on the uses of Turmeric! I had no idea that it was so beneficial in so many ways !  I have really bad migraine headaches and a lady at church told me to try turmeric cucumin capsules that she picks up at Wal Mart. I thought it might be a little far fetched but I tried it anyway! 

    I still have occasional migraines but I have found that they are nowhere ner as bad if I take the tumeric cucumin when the headache starts! I’m amazed at the power of that stuff, and I’m going to take your advice and try tumeric for some other applications as well!
